DETALLES

The Storm Sister (The Seven Sisters #2)

The Storm Sister is the second volume in The Seven Sisters, a thrilling saga based on Greek mythology and astrology, by bestselling author Lucinda Riley.

Seven sisters, seven destinies, a father with a mysterious past...

Ally D'Aplièse is about to compete in one of the world's most dangerous yacht races when she receives news that her father has just passed away. Gathering at the family mansion in Switzerland with her five sisters, they discover that their father, a mysterious billionaire affectionately known as Pa Salt, has left each of them a letter with information about their origins.

After reading it, Ally decides to put both the sea and the passionate relationship she had just begun aside to follow a clue that leads her to snowy Norway. There she will discover her roots and how her story is linked to that of young Anna Landvik, an unknown singer who lived in the Scandinavian country a hundred years earlier and who sang in the first performance of Ibsen's Peer Gynt with music by Grieg.

If you want to know more, including about Greek mythology, the Pleiades, armillary spheres..., visit Lucinda Riley's website in Spanish: esp.lucindariley.co.uk. You will also find documentation about Grieg's Peer Gynt, Henrik Ibsen, the Leipzig Conservatory, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Fastnet Race.

Critics have said...
«The "Seven Sisters" series is romantic, sweeping, luxurious, and glamorous.»
The Daily Mail

«The second installment in Lucinda Riley's thrilling series excites us. The author's talent for blending the present with the past (here she jumps from the present to 19th-century Norway) will appeal to readers looking for historical fiction. In addition, fans of Kristin Hannah, for example, will especially appreciate the story of love, pain, but also deep family ties.»
Booklist

«The second installment in the series about seven adopted sisters raised in a mansion on the shores of a Swiss lake. Their mysterious father and benefactor, Pa Salt, suddenly dies and leaves them clues about their origins. An unputdownable novel, full of love and drama.»
The Daily Mail
