DETALLES

The brotherhood

Three corrupt judges have hatched a plan to continue enriching themselves from behind bars. But they pick the wrong victim... Or do they?

They call themselves "The Brotherhood." They are three former corrupt judges serving time in a federal prison in Florida. One was jailed for tax fraud, another for embezzling bingo profits, and the third for drunk driving in a stolen car. They could kill time reminiscing about old cases, dispensing prison justice, and reflecting on what went wrong in their lives. However, they are more interested in how to keep making easy money.

They spend hours sitting in the library frantically writing letters as a twisted extortion scheme takes shape, involving blackmailing wealthy closeted homosexuals. It seems they have found the perfect victim: Aaron Lake, the candidate for the upcoming presidential elections. What the members of "The Brotherhood" don't know is that they are about to meddle in a conspiracy designed by Teddy Maynard, the ruthless director of the CIA.

Critics have said...
"An incredible story from one of the masters of the 'game'."
USA Today

"Fascinating... It will hook you from the first page and you won't be able to put it down."
New York Post

"An excellent story."
