DETALLES

The lost man

The queen of Australian thriller returns with a powerful and brutal suspense.

Burned by the relentless Australian summer sun, Cameron Bright's lifeless body is found several hours' drive from any inhabited place. And although the police assume it is a suicide, no one can explain the reasons that led a man as intelligent and charming as Cam to commit such an act.

As the entire community prepares for an emotional Christmas Eve funeral, Nathan, the eldest of the Brights, determined to clarify the loose ends of Cam's death, faces an abyss of silences and lies that threatens to destroy delicate family ties.

Critics have said...
«Jane Harper consolidates her position as the queen of Australian crime fiction with this unsettling family mystery.»
The Sunday Times

«Her best book yet.»
Evening Standard

«A crime masterpiece. The landscape and culture of this remote Australian territory are magnificently evoked as family secrets are revealed.»
People

«I loved it. I devoured it in a day. Jane Harper outdoes herself with this work!»
Liane Moriarty

«I have no words to express how much I liked it. Her other two books were incredible, but this one is on another level. It completely transcends the crime genre and should win all the awards.»
Marian Keyes

«If you liked The Dry, this one is even better, absorbing until the end. You'll love it.»
Herald Sun (Australia)
