DETALLES
Amanda Black 1 - Una herencia peligrosa

"Amanda Black" is the new series for children by Juan Gómez-Jurado and Bárbara Montes. Adventures full of mystery, thrilling action, and a frantic pace.

"I'm thirteen, and I have a Social Studies exam tomorrow that I know nothing about. But that's not my biggest worry.
Before the weekend, the bank will kick Aunt Paula and me out of Black Mansion. That was my biggest worry three seconds ago.
The rope I was using to descend from the 180th floor of the Dagon Corp. Tower has been cut.
Right now, I'm falling from a height of four hundred and seventy-seven meters, at a speed of approximately fifty-five meters per second.
I estimate that in a little less than nine seconds I'll smash into the ground.
That's not my biggest worry either.
My biggest worry is that the one who cut the rope is my best friend.
Or at least I thought he was."

This is how the first novel in Juan Gómez-Jurado and Bárbara Montes' new middle grade series begins, narrating the adventures of Amanda Black, a girl who on her thirteenth birthday receives a mysterious letter that will change her life. And how.
