While her classmates go on a trip, Aru Shah is going to spend the holidays with her archaeologist mother at the Museum of Ancient Indian Art and Culture. One day, her classmates go to see Aru and tell her that they don't believe that the Lamp of Bharata, one of the museum's relics, is cursed. And they challenge Aru to prove it. Aru hopes to be able to light the lamp for a moment to get out of trouble, but, in doing so, she releases the Sleeper. Her classmates and her mother are frozen in time, and now Aru must save them. The only way to stop this diabolical and powerful enemy is to find the reincarnations of the famous Pandava brothers, protagonists of the Hindu epic poem Mahabharata. -- While her classmates go on a trip, Aru Shah is going to spend the holidays with her archaeologist mother at the Museum of Ancient Indian Art and Culture.
