Before you begin the most important book I have ever written, I must confess that it is not just any book. Among these pages you will not find poetry, but a heart that beats in verse. I feel the need to confess and make you aware that what is written here is the most intimate part I have ever revealed to anyone. And I do it with fear, with a fear I have rarely felt. Within these pages you will find pain, some doses of love, and on other occasions, heartbreak. But above all, you will find the hope of someone who, after ceasing to shine, intends to do so again; the belief that, after the storm, the sun will rise.
