Travis Boyette is a killer. In 1998, in a small Texas town, he abducted, raped, and strangled one of the prettiest and most popular girls in high school. Now nine years have passed, and only four days remain until Donté's execution. In Kansas, more than six hundred kilometers from the prison, Travis also faces his destiny: a brain tumor that leaves him very little time to live.
