We present to the reader two very disparate writers in space and time: a Chinese, Sun Tzu (around the 6th century BC) and an Italian-Florentine, Niccolò Machiavelli (1469 -1527), but united by two works with the same theme and title: "The Art of War." Each of them expounds the vision of his time on the preparation and development of this apocalyptic human phenomenon, its protagonists and everything necessary to achieve the desired victory. The common points developed by both are surprising, differing only in technical advances and the socio-cultural conception of war. Both productions are excellent manuals for administration and resource management that are not far from the work carried out by a current general staff or a successful manager.
