The Burning Maze (The Trials of Apollo Book 3)

He was once the glorious god Apollo.
Now he's Lester, a mere mortal.

Don't miss the third book in Rick Riordan's most spectacular saga: #TheTrialsOfApollo.

With the help of some demigod friends, Lester has managed to survive the first two trials: one at Camp Half-Blood and the other in Indianapolis, where Meg received the dark prophecy. The words she spoke sitting on the Throne of Memory revealed that a dream team of three supervillain Roman emperors plans to attack Camp Jupiter.

While Leo flies at full speed to warn the Camp members of the imminent danger, Lester and Meg must cross the Labyrinth to find the third emperor (and an Oracle who speaks in puns) somewhere in the southwest of America. Luckily, there was a verse in the prophecy that gives them some hope: Only the hoofed guide knows how not to get lost. It is clear that they are going to have a satyr accompany them and Meg knows exactly who she has to ask this favor from.
