Along this path, he deciphers history's most enigmatic smile and explains how dementia positively influenced Ravel to compose his legendary Bolero. The author describes emotion as something ancient and automatic, and defines feeling as a processed system, with its multiple manifestations: love, hatred, faith, guilt, shame, envy, and jealousy.
