Hannibal: El origen del mal (Hannibal Lecter 4)

It all started with revenge...

Thomas Harris, author of The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, tells us the story of Hannibal Lecter's youth in this novel.

Orphaned and a witness to indescribable barbarities, Hannibal Lecter survives the whirlwind of World War II in Eastern Europe. At the end of the conflict, his uncle locates him in a Soviet orphanage and takes him to Paris to live with him and his beautiful wife, Lady Murasaki. She cares for him and, with her support, Hannibal becomes the youngest and most gifted student at the Paris medical faculty. However, he can never forget what he has lived through. His demons constantly torment him and demand revenge. And the young student begins to develop surprising and exquisite talents to fulfill it.

Review:
"With a surgeon's precision, Harris opens his dissecting, analytical, and effective word, creating an atmosphere of suspense that captivates the reader and leads them through the rooms of the mind's palace of a terrible being."
