DETALLES

Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix (Ed. de bolsillo) (Harry Potter 5)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth installment in the already classic fantasy series by British author J.K. Rowling.

"The headmaster thinks it is not good that this continues to happen. He wants me to teach you to close your mind to the Dark Lord."

These are bad times for Hogwarts. After the Dementor attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry Potter understands that Voldemort will stop at nothing to find him. Many deny that the Dark Lord has returned, but Harry is not alone: a secret order gathers at Grimmauld Place to fight against the dark forces. Harry must allow Professor Snape to teach him how to protect himself from Voldemort's brutal incursions into his mind. But these are becoming more and more powerful, and Harry is running out of time...

Upon its publication, critics said...
"The Order of the Phoenix starts slowly, gains speed, and then flies, with some somersaults, to its fierce conclusion. The older Harry gets, the better Rowling is."
The New York Times Book Review

"Rowling prioritizes psychological development over action in this latest installment, skillfully exploring the effect on Harry of his declining popularity and the frequent feeling of loneliness in adolescence [...]. When the reader reaches the end of this story, they will be eager to know what will happen to Harry in his sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts." Publishers Weekly

"After the fierce final battle between the headmaster and the villain You-Know-Who, your wrists might hurt, but you'll want more."
People

"Rowling has become a virtuoso of plot, capable of astonishing and surprising at will."
Time

"These books are not harmless; if they are dangerous, it is because reading makes children think."
Times Literary Supplement

"Mrs. Rowling is at the peak of her creativity [...]. The latest Potter adventure could be The Catcher in the Rye without offensive words or alcohol... Or perhaps just without offensive words, because what the heck is butterbeer?"
Stephen King

"We are very fortunate to live in a time when works like this are being written."
Boston Globe

"Humor is one of the most attractive elements of the world created by Rowling."
The Sunday Times

"Take the book from your nine-year-old and read it."
Sunday Herald

"I wouldn't be surprised if today is known in the future as Harry Potter Day!"
Minerva McGonagall

"To be clear from the start, I will first answer the most important questions: Is it worth it? Is it a 'round' book? Is it as gripping as the others? Does it deserve the expectation created around it? My answer is four times YES."
Stuttgarter Zeitung

"Rowling proves again that she is a writer of great mastery, capable of capturing the interest of young readers and adult readers."
La Stampa
