History Of Witchcraft

This work proposes to demystify a topic of yesterday, today, and always, as suggestive, attractive, and full of mystery as witchcraft has been and continues to be. Witchcraft has been and is one of many paranormal phenomena that the history of humanity has experienced, arising from a combination of political, social, and economic circumstances, to which spiritual, mental, and religious ones must be added. Since their appearance on Earth, human beings have felt the need to seek links with that supposed or real beyond and to answer the questions: who are we?, where do we come from? and where are we going?, without obtaining fully satisfactory answers. Witches have been, for better or worse, a vehicle of union with the unknown. Professor Cardona has clarified the matter about them, reflecting the changes in mentality in different eras and countries, reaching the present time and delving into Spanish and Latin American witchcraft and the unjust persecutions it was subjected to from the mid-Middle Ages until the 17th century. The work also analyzes black masses and the persistence of witchcraft in the African continent, concluding with an approach to popular festivals starring witches or demons.
