Harry awaits with impatience the beginning of the third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Having turned thirteen, alone and far from his Hogwarts friends, Harry quarrels with his bigoted Aunt Marge, whom he turns into a balloon, and must flee on a magic bus.
Meanwhile, a terrible villain, Sirius Black, has escaped from Azkaban prison. He is a serial killer with magical powers who was an accomplice of Lord Voldemort and seems determined to eliminate Harry from the map. And if that weren't enough, Harry must also face terrible monsters, the Dementors, abominable beings capable of stealing happiness from wizards and erasing every beautiful memory from those who dare to look at them.
What none of these evil characters know is that Harry, with the help of his faithful friends Ron and Hermione, is capable of anything and much more.
