Introduction to psychoanalysis
A combat book written between 1916 and 1917, "Introduction to Psychoanalysis" is a work in which Sigmund Freud (1856-1939), in full maturity, tries to break the circle of hostility and silence that surrounds him to popularize the central ideas of the psychoanalytic conception. If the first section of the work is dedicated to failed acts - an object already of Freud's attention in Psychopathology of Everyday Life, present in this same collection - the second returns to the domain of dreams, while the third and last deals with neurotic phenomena and symptoms. |
