The Bookseller and the Thief

Laura Loire is an antiquarian bookseller about to close the sale of a manuscript of Dante's Inferno, with which she hopes to save her business. At the moment of the operation, she discovers that the valuable book has been stolen and a crude copy is in its place. She is convinced that Pol, her ex-boyfriend, a gentleman thief, is involved. However, shortly after, she discovers that he is on the passenger list of a plane that crashed in Barajas. All this makes both her and Marcos, Pol's elderly mentor in the world of bibliophilia, remember the young man and allows us to learn the details of the difficult relationship between the bookseller and the thief, while she simultaneously tries to find out what happened to the Inferno Loire, the Divina Comedia manuscript that belonged to her family. When a mysterious man demands from Laura a notebook handwritten by Einstein, containing dangerous information, in exchange for the Inferno Loire, everything rushes towards a frantic resolution full of surprises. But what no one knows is that the missing manuscript in turn hides an incredible secret. An addictive action and adventure novel, full of knowledge and revelations, that brings us closer to a fascinating world, that of ancient book collectors, spanning eras and places.
