His most famous work is the comic strip Mafalda, an Argentine comic strip created in 1964, whose main character is an Argentine middle-class girl with a committed attitude towards the world. Mafalda is a little girl concerned about humanity and world peace, who rebels against the way the world is. She appeared in comic strips in Argentine newspapers from 1964 to 1973, and was also very popular in Latin America in general, Spain, Italy, France and other European countries. Mafalda has been translated into more than thirty languages.
