A charming, poetic, and magical story about the love of books.

Anna is almost 10 years old and loves to read. She loves it so much that Monsen, the librarian, has become one of her best friends.

One day, her friend tells Anna what happens to the books that no one wants to borrow from the library. These books disappear, they are destroyed. But what happens to those who live inside those books, Anna wonders, do they disappear too? The idea that all that magical world and its inhabitants are lost forever becomes unbearable to her.

And that's when Anna embarks on an extraordinary journey with a mission that no one has achieved until then: to save books from oblivion.
