Maite works as a secretary, but she only lives for one thing: the next installment of "Secret Romance." Student protests and political instability besiege the city, but she escapes it all thanks to those wonderful stories of passion and risk. Her neighbor, an attractive art student named Leonora, seems to lead a life full of intrigue and romance, something Maite envies. And when she disappears under strange circumstances, Maite can't help but start looking for her, delving into her neighbor's secret life; a life of radical students and dissidents. But there is someone else who is looking for Leonora. He does so at the request of his boss, a mysterious man who sends groups of thugs to crush political activists. Elvis is an eccentric criminal: he is reluctant to violence and loves rock and roll. As Elvis searches for the whereabouts of the missing woman, he begins to observe Maite; and he becomes increasingly interested in this woman who shares his love for music and the solitude of his heart. As they search for Leonora, Maite and Elvis will have to face thugs, government agents, and Russian spies who try to protect certain secrets at gunpoint.
