The Little Bookstore of Lonely Hearts
Once upon a time, in a small London bookstore, there lived a dreamy young woman named Posy Morland, who spent her days surrounded by books and hidden behind the pages of her favorite romance novels. One day, when the eccentric old owner of Bookends died, Posy was forced to take over the bookstore, which was in a sorry state, and thus leave her comfortable refuge of fictional romances. However, Posy not only had to face the ruined business she had inherited and make it prosperous, but also the pressures of the old woman's grandson, Sebastian, better known as "The rudest man in all of London," determined to annoy Posy and divert her from her plan to transform Bookends into the bookstore of her dreams. Will Posy achieve her "happily ever after" like the protagonists of the novels she so admires? |
