“Politics” by the Greek philosopher Aristotle (384-322 BC), was published in the 4th century BC. Consisting of eight books, the work defines the figure of the State, the classes of citizens, government and constitutions, as well as the deviations that may arise from these. It also covers revolutions, their causes and origins, educational models and the powers within each type of government, with the aim of exploring what is the ideal State or type of government according to the purposes of each group of men. Aristotle, a disciple of Plato, is considered one of the fathers of Western philosophy and one of the first scientific researchers. The rigorous and systematic nature of his studies, many of which are still valid today, makes him one of the most important philosophers in history.
