In "The First Guardian," Alodi and Eidre plan to live and rule together, but he was born with a gift that will take him further than his own expectations dictate; he will have to choose, and it won't be easy. "A Purifying Fire" tells the story of Sir Thomas, a crusader who fights against the Plague and, due to his missions, must separate from his family for a time; sacrifices, will, and struggle will be necessary for Light to reign in a land infested with undead.
