DETALLES

The 15/33 method

National Indie Excellence Award for Best Thriller of 2015.

Imagine a vulnerable, pregnant sixteen-year-old girl, snatched from the tranquility of her home and thrown into a dilapidated van. Kidnapped... Alone... Terrified. Now, forget her.

Instead, imagine a prodigious sixteen-year-old manipulator who, from the first moments of her abduction, focuses with serene determination on two things: saving the child she carries and getting revenge.

Methodical and calculating, she devises an almost scientifically organized plan in which nothing is left to chance. Her unwavering will and ingenuity will be her best weapons against the brutality of her captors, and all that's left for her to do is await the ideal moment to launch her attack.

Critics have said...
«Readers will see a resemblance between the protagonist and Lisbeth Salander, the heroine of the Millennium series. Both girls refuse to be victimized... Welcome to an exciting new voice in crime fiction.»
The Boston Globe

«The protagonist's will and ingenuity far surpass the ruthless brutality of her captors, as the exciting story reaches a surprising climax.»
Publishers Weekly

«Nietzsche warned us to beware of people who harbor a great desire for revenge. That idea lingers after reading this dark, disturbing, and damn fascinating book... An exciting challenge that can lead to passionate debates, as with John Katzenbach's The Professor
Booklist

«In the hands of a less talented author, it could have been just another "damsel in distress" story, but it's not. The Method 15/33 is intense, thoughtful, and emotionally gratifying.»
Forward Reviews

« The Method 15/33 takes us to very dark places... In the last chapter, a light illuminates everything, both past and present. Then you'll reread the book to discover where you went wrong.»
Mystery Scene Magazine

«One of the best thrillers of the year.»
Crime Fiction

Praise from France:
«The writing is precise, effective, and solid. The thriller genre is taken by storm by a prodigy of the genre. A captivating book of undeniable literary quality.»
Polars Pourpres

«Shannon Kirk's prose and style are incisive and demonstrate her mastery. The reader goes from surprise to amazement... A rich and fascinating plot, unique characters... An undoubtedly talented author!»
Azilis

«A very well-constructed story where the codes are inverted, since in this kidnapping the most sociopathic behavior is that of the victim. A masterpiece.»
Bernieshoo

«The ingenuity, coolness, and methodical spirit of the heroine immerse the reader in a thriller of great virtuosity.»
