About the author

Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés is a Jungian psychoanalyst, award-winning poet, storyteller, and guardian of ancient stories from the Latin American tradition. For thirty years, she has been dedicated to teaching and practicing psychoanalysis, and has been the executive director of the C. G. Jung Center for Education and Research in the United States.
