DETALLES

Those of us who are dead

Are we women or are we demons?

The Gilded Ones is the start of an incredible and bold epic fantasy saga.

Sixteen-year-old Deka is about to face the blood ceremony that will determine if she is fit to be part of her village. Already feeling different from others due to her unnatural intuition, she prays that her blood will be red so she can remain in her community.

But on the day of the ceremony, her blood runs golden, the color of impurity, and Deka knows that the fate awaiting her is worse than death.

Then, a mysterious woman approaches her and presents her with a choice: she can stay in the village and submit to her fate, or join the Alaki, an army of nearly immortal girls who fight to defend the empire from its greatest enemy.

Knowing the dangers ahead and longing for acceptance, Deka decides to leave the only life she has known. But as she travels to the capital to prepare for the most important battle of her life, she will discover that the great walled city hides many surprises. Nothing and no one is what they seem, not even herself.

Rejected by their blood.
Warriors by choice.

Get ready for battle!
