Sesion Nocturna

Rene Ballard works the night shift in Hollywood. She starts many investigations, but never finishes any because she hands her cases over to the detectives who work the day shift. Once a rising star in the police department, she received this assignment after accusing a superior of sexual harassment. One evening, she is given two cases she doesn't want to let go of: a brutal beating of a prostitute who is left for dead and the murder of a waiter during a shootout at a night club. Against orders and the her partner's wishes, she continues to investigate after her shift ends. As she delves deeper, she gets closer to her personal demons and to the reason she won't leave the department no matter how difficult her situation becomes.
