Winter Solstice (Great Quake 3)

The protagonists of the «The Great Shiver» saga face their most challenging adventure to date in its third installment.

Effie Truelove and her school friends must put their magical skills to the test to defeat The Diberi, a corrupt and depraved organization that has planned a sinister coup for the winter solstice.

During a visit to the Otherworld, Effie is arrested, accused of being a galloglass, a dangerous and selfish islander. Meanwhile, Lexy receives threats from the vile Professor Jupiter Peacock and Wolf embarks on a dangerous journey to find his missing sister.

Back at school, Neptune the cat is bored. He's used to talking to the other stray cats, but they've all mysteriously disappeared. Where are they, how will he find them? Will Effie and her friends manage to reunite before their universe ceases to exist?
