The Time of Cherries

The highly anticipated sequel to the global bestseller The Smile of Women is a delightful romantic comedy about books, cooking, and the eternal magic of Paris.

Aurélie, the charming chef who runs Le Temps des Cerises restaurant in Paris's Saint-Germain district, and André, a successful editor and writer, have been a couple for a year. Valentine's Day is approaching, and with it, the perfect date for a marriage proposal, but before André can pop the question, something unexpected happens: Aurélie's small restaurant receives a Michelin star, and the young chef can't contain her joy... for three days. The surprise that seemed to top off the couple's happiness was only the result of a misunderstanding. And when Aurélie meets the actual recipient of the award, chef Jean-Marie Marronnier, who not only cooks like a god but also has an authentic Monet hanging in his restaurant, things are going to get even more complicated...
